Job summary

Talan is seeking an IT Business Analyst to support its Compliance and Regulatory Technology initiatives, focusing on regulatory change in financial services. The role emphasizes requirements gathering, process mapping, testing, and stakeholder management across business, technology, and third-party vendor teams.

The position includes coordinating UAT, supporting data migration and integration activities, and ensuring timely delivery and regulatory compliance in a hybrid NYC environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst within financial services.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Compliance, IT, and business stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business, functional, and technical requirements.
• Support the implementation of a regulatory technology (RegTech) solution, including configuration, integration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live activities.
• Conduct gap analyses and map current-state and future-state processes to improve regulatory and compliance workflows.
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test case creation, execution, defect tracking, and validation of delivered solutions.
• Support data migration and integration activities, including data mapping, validation, and reconciliation with internal systems.
• Collaborate with internal governance teams, Head Office stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure timely delivery and regulatory compliance.
