Job summary

Mount Sinai Medical Center in South Florida seeks a full-time Nuclear Radiologist to join our radiology team. The role supports a growing oncology program and cancer center with a hybrid/onsite model, emphasizing PET/CT, SPECT, and cross-sectional oncology imaging.

The ideal candidate will teach residents, participate in research and quality initiatives, and collaborate with oncologists and multidisciplinary teams to advance cancer care and education within our ABR/ABNM-certified residency

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certified by ABR and ABNM or ABR in Nuclear Radiology.
• Completion of Nuclear Medicine or Oncology Imaging fellowship (or equivalent).
• Eligible for Florida medical licensure.

Responsibilities

• Interpret a full spectrum of nuclear medicine studies (PET/CT, SPECT, general NM).
• Read oncology-focused imaging to assist in cancer diagnosis, staging, and treatment planning.
• Collaborate with oncologists and multidisciplinary teams in oncologic imaging and theranostics.
• Develop and implement advanced theranostic protocols.
• Teach and mentor radiology residents and participate in education sessions.
• Engage in research, quality improvement, and academic initiatives.
