Job summary

Silicon Valley Council of Nonprofits (SVCN) is hiring an Operations + People Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, HR, technology, vendor relationships, and governance. Reporting to the CEO, this role blends strategic planning with hands-on implementation in a hybrid San José setting.

As the operational backbone, you will supervise staff, coordinate financial processes with our outsourced bookkeeper, and support organizational events, retreats, and board activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience in nonprofit operations or related field.
• Three+ years of nonprofit operations and vendor relations experience.
• Commitment to advancing racial justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion.
• Experience with Salesforce, Gusto, FormAssembly, Excel, and QuickBooks Online preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee organizational operations, HR, technology, and vendor management.
• Coordinate payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting with outsourced bookkeeper.
• Support governance administration and board operations.
• Plan staff retreats, events, and organizational activities.
