Job summary

Providence House seeks a full-time events manager in Cleveland to plan and execute fundraising events with a focus on strategy, budgeting, vendor coordination, and donor relations. The role supports the Marketing & Communication Director and Donor Relations Director, with evening/weekend availability.

Hybrid schedule includes East Campus on-site Tue-Thu and remote Mon & Fri. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in nonprofit events, a bachelor's in hospitality or related field, and proficiency with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of event management experience, nonprofit preferred.
• Proven success in soliciting event sponsorships, donations and ticket sales.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Adobe/Canva.
• Evening and weekend availability required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute Providence House events from strategy to post-event evaluation.
• Lead budgeting, revenue goals, and expense tracking with Directors.
• Manage digital fundraising platforms and registrations (Raiser’s Edge, GiveSmart, Square).
• Coordinate vendor selection, contracts, and invoicing.
• Oversee volunteer coordination and event staffing.
• Develop marketing collateral, scripts, and guest communications.
• Maintain relationships with corporate partners and donors.
