Job summary

Legacy Health in Vancouver, WA is seeking a part-time Dietitian (RD) to support NICU nutrition across inpatient and outpatient settings. You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacists and care teams to deliver evidence-based care in a Level III NICU, with the potential to transition to full-time hours.

The role requires a bachelor’s or graduate degree in nutrition/dietetics, ACEND-approved internship, and RD licensure.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Bachelor’s or graduate level degree in Nutrition and Dietetics or equivalent field from an accredited university/college required.
• Completion of a Dietitian Internship or Coordinated Program approved by ACEND required.
• Licensure as Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and state dietary licensure where practicing required.

Responsibilities

• Perform nutrition assessments and identify malnutrition risk.
• Develop individualized nutrition care plans using evidence-based practice.
• Provide nutrition education and counseling to patients and families.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes.
• Exercise order-writing privileges per CMS guidelines and hospital policy.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and professional development.
• Maintain professional competency through ongoing learning.
