Qualifications

• One year of underwriting or related group health insurance experience.
• Basic understanding of underwriting principles.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates enrollment materials and medical records to determine underwriting actions.
• Enrolling new groups and members on carrier online systems.
• Reviewing final rates, benefit options, and underwriting requirements.
• Notifying agents/brokers of case status and requesting additional information.
