Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in network security or a related IT field with four years of related work experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience also considered.
• Experience with IPS/IDS, VPN, SIEM, and cloud security tools preferred.
• Ability to analyze security events and communicate findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the Security Operations Center for the NCAOC.
• Triage, update, and close security-related help desk tickets.
• Engineer and maintain IPS, VM, NAC, IPsec, VPN, SIEM and related tools.
• Collaborate with vendors to resolve incidents and implement changes.
• Document processes and present findings to management.
