Job summary

MDVIP in Boca Raton, FL seeks a Network Security Engineer for a 6‑month contract-to-perm role to own on‑prem and hybrid security. You will drive remediation from penetration tests, audits, and risk assessments, and lead monthly patching to sustain 24/7 reliability.

The position requires PKI/SSL, IAM/PAM, firewall, and SIEM experience, plus collaboration with AD/Microsoft Entra teams. Occasional travel to the ATL data center may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• At least five years of network security, systems engineering, or infrastructure operations experience.
• Experience with hybrid on‑prem/cloud environments and security remediation.

Responsibilities

• Execute remediation for findings from security assessments and audits with SLA tracking.
• Lead monthly patching cycles and rapid zero-day response.
• Apply security remediations on on‑prem and cloud infrastructure and devices (firewalls, switches, Linux/Windows).
• Perform vulnerability remediation and OS/system hardening per baselines.
• Maintain remediation metrics and support reporting on KPIs.
