Job summary

Presidio seeks a Network Engineer to join our NY metro team. You will assist with the implementation and support of network and security solutions for enterprise clients, working independently on smaller engagements and with senior engineers on larger projects.

The role is hybrid, requiring on-site client presence in the New York metro area. Travel to customer and company locations in the NYC area is expected, and a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years hands-on network infrastructure experience.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting routing, switching, and firewall technologies.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in IT/ Networking.

Responsibilities

• Assist with network and security deployments including staging, installation, configuration, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Configure routing, switching, and security platforms per designs.
• Support network discovery activities and document client environments.
• Create and maintain implementation diagrams and deployment notes.
• Collaborate with sales engineers, project managers, and senior engineers to deliver outcomes.
• Diagnose and resolve network and security issues during deployments and post-implementation support.
• Assist with maintenance procedures and network updates remotely and onsite.
