Provisions Group in Franklin, TN is seeking a Network Engineer with a strong Fortinet, SD-WAN, and wireless focus to design, implement, and optimize networks for mid-market to enterprise clients.

You will document networks, mentor junior engineers, and travel to customer sites in the Middle TN area. The role supports certifications and a collaborative culture, with strong Fortinet expertise required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in IT with a focus on network engineering and architecture.
• Strong proficiency with Fortinet firewalls, FortiManager, SD-WAN, ADVPN, and dynamic routing.
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise-level networks.
• Familiarity with Fortinet hardware and firewalls.
• Willingness to obtain industry certifications – company covers certification expenses.
• Experience integrating, migrating, and consolidating networks.
• Cable management and equipment installation in various environments.
• Effective troubleshooting of network connectivity issues.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust network solutions emphasizing Fortinet technologies.
• Create and maintain detailed network diagrams and inventories.
• Partner with Lead/Senior Engineers to prioritize projects across multiple retainer clients.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on network migration and integration projects.
• Drive reliability improvements through lifecycle management and performance tuning.
• Support process standardization, documentation, and operational best practices.
• Respond to unplanned events affecting client networks.
• Travel to customer sites in the Middle Tennessee area as needed.
