This role requires CCNA/MSE/Network+ and experience with multicast routing, SCADA, IP telephony, and Cisco Nexus.

It is a hybrid position with quick response expectations. The role pays hourly and involves tier 3 support, upgrades, and broad campus network resiliency expertise.

Qualifications

• Cisco CCNA certification is required.
• MSE certification (network) is preferred.
• Network+ certification recognized.
• Experience with multicast routing is expected.
• Experience with large SCADA installations (building automation systems).
• Experience with IP telephony is preferred.
• Experience with large campus network design for resiliency.
• Experience with Cisco Nexus is desired.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in architecture and design of company networks.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies for the enterprise.
• Install, maintain, configure, test, and troubleshoot networks and related equipment (routers, switches, firewalls).
• Support and administer the companys TCP/IP Ethernet networks.
• Assist with software/hardware upgrades and distribution.
• Provide technical tier 3 support to company staff as needed.
• Provide support to all network users and respond to calls within one hour.
