Job summary

The Laramar Group LLC is seeking a Multifamily Financial Analyst to support forecasting, budgeting, financial modeling, and portfolio analysis across a diverse real estate portfolio. You will analyze performance, identify trends, and provide insights to maximize asset value while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Ideal candidates have a finance-based degree and 1–2 years in the multi-family space, with strong Excel and MS Office skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field.
• 1-2 years of financial experience in the multi-family industry preferred.
• High proficiency with Excel including building and maintaining complex financial models.
• Demonstrate proficient skill with MS Office; knowledge of income statement, balance sheet, cash flow.
• Position requires acceptable driving history and appropriate vehicle insurance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and report forward-looking KPI’s and statistics for the company.
• Track performance vs. plan on key metrics like ROI and IRR; conduct productivity analytics.
• Coordinate and lead cross-functional budgeting during annual property budgeting.
• Analyze portfolio performance and strategic impact of potential levers.
• Prepare materials for executive briefs and decision-making.
• Provide process improvements across operational areas from analyses.
• Develop market insights and support real estate taxes, financings, and debt payments.
