Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a MuleSoft Tech Lead to design, build, and maintain integration solutions on the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. You will drive the API lifecycle, establish patterns, and mentor engineers across MuleSoft and AWS components.

The role combines hands-on leadership with collaboration across utilities and cloud teams in a hybrid environment, requiring 2 days per week in a Cognizant office. A strong certification and enterprise experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 10–13 years of enterprise integration experience with leadership in delivering complex, business-critical solutions.
• Strong hands-on expertise in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (API-led connectivity, Mule apps, DataWeave, deployment, troubleshooting).
• Deep experience with API Manager and end-to-end API lifecycle management, including design, governance, policy enforcement, analytics, versioning, monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of secure, scalable integration solutions using MuleSoft and AWS Kiro.
• Drive the end-to-end API lifecycle across API Manager and MuleSoft capabilities.
• Define reusable API-led integration patterns, frameworks, and security standards.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership for architecture, development, troubleshooting, reviews, and QA.
• Implement authentication, authorization, encryption, logging, monitoring, and alerting controls.
• Optimize performance, availability, and resilience of integrations for outage workflows.
• Collaborate with product owners, analysts, utilities SMEs, infra and cloud teams to translate requirements into designs.
• Maintain architecture documents, mapping specs, and runbooks; mentor engineers.
