Job summary

Arauco North America, Inc. in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Supply Planning Analyst to partner with Maintenance, Operations, and Procurement to build robust forecasts and inventory strategies that support safe, reliable operations.

This hybrid role (three days on site, two days from home) requires up to 25% travel to mills in the U.S. and Canada and 3–5 years of supply planning experience with SAP MM and advanced Excel; Power BI is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, industrial engineering, business, or related field.
• 3–5 years of supply planning or materials planning in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on forecasting experience and setting inventory policies.
• Proven experience with SAP MM and advanced Excel; Power BI preferred.
• Strong analytical ability and aptitude for translating data into actionable insights.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Lean/Six Sigma familiarity or experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and improve forecasts for MRO parts using historical usage, maintenance plans, failure/PM data, seasonality, and shutdown calendars.
• Convert forecasts into executable MRP/MPS signals; create and monitor network inventory plans to meet service levels while minimizing working capital.
• Set stocking policies (min/max, safety time, reorder points) and planning parameters; tune for accuracy and inventory turns.
• Lead creation/enrichment/standardization of the spare-parts material master to improve planning accuracy and optimize working capital.
• Monitor performance of expense/material categories; implement productivity and process improvements to reduce slow-moving exposure.
• Partner with Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, and Procurement to align plans and resolve shortages.
• Coordinate with PA on delivery reliability, lead-time reduction, and risk mitigation; support negotiations.
• Build dashboards/analyses to track forecast accuracy, fill rate, service level, inventory turns, and working capital.
• Research and pilot new planning techniques; integrate Procurement into core business processes.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and industry standards.
