Job summary

Cox Automotive is looking for a Mobile Inspector – Level 2 to conduct on-site vehicle condition inspections for dealer clients. You will document vehicle condition per Manheim standards and act as a brand ambassador for Cox Automotive.

The role requires independent work with increasing responsibility, a focus on safety, and collaboration with teams to improve inspection processes across the territory.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus 3+ years in related field.
• 1–2 years automotive-related experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Ability to meet physical and mental demands within required timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Independently conduct detailed and complex vehicle inspections.
• Manage daily inspection schedules across dealer locations.
• Build strong working relationships with dealer clients.
• Use data and insights to expand inspection volume and efficiency.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and team collaboration.
