Placements24 is seeking an experienced Mobile App Developer to join our digital innovation team in a hybrid role based in East London. You will develop high-quality native iOS and Android apps, collaborating with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless experiences.

The role requires 3+ years in mobile development and strong knowledge of Swift/Obj-C for iOS or Kotlin/Java for Android, with REST APIs and Git proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in mobile application development.
• Proven experience developing iOS (Swift/Objective-C) and/or Android (Kotlin/Java).
• Familiarity with mobile development frameworks, SDKs, and tools.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and mobile app architecture patterns.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Knowledge of mobile app performance optimization and security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop native iOS applications using Swift/Objective-C and native Android applications using Kotlin/Java.
• Design and build user interfaces that are intuitive, responsive, and visually appealing across devices.
• Integrate mobile applications with backend services and APIs.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes into functional code.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Implement unit and integration tests to ensure stability and performance.
