Job summary

Panera LLC is seeking an experienced MLOps/ML Engineer to design and maintain production-grade pipelines for model training, validation, deployment, and rollback. You will productionize models from data scientists and vendor partners, focusing on accuracy, calibration, and continuous improvement of enterprise sales forecasting models.

You will deploy and monitor models on Vertex AI and implement automated retraining, feature management, and governance practices while collaborating with Security,

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in MLOps, ML engineering, data engineering, or DevOps supporting production ML workloads.
• 2
• Hands-on data science capability with feature engineering and model tuning.
• Experience deploying and operating ML models in production and improving them over time.
• Experience with forecasting models in production and diagnosing accuracy degradation.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for model training, validation, deployment, and rollback.
• Productionize models and vendor-supplied code into scalable pipelines.
• Own maintenance and performance of enterprise sales forecasting models.
• Deploy and manage models on Vertex AI (training jobs, endpoints, batch prediction).
• Implement model monitoring for accuracy, drift, data quality, latency, and alerting.
