Job summary

BBA is seeking a mining engineer to join our growing mining team. You’ll work on underground mine studies from scoping through detailed design, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver practical mining solutions.

The ideal candidate has a degree in mining/geological engineering, 4+ years of relevant experience, and proficiency with mine design software such as Deswik. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally is required.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in mining or geological engineering.
• Experience working at a mining operation in engineering and/or project evaluation.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Provide mining engineering and design services for underground mine studies, including scoping, prefeasibility, feasibility, detailed design and reports.
• Manipulating block models and selecting mining methods.
• Estimating capital and operating costs and contributing to financial models.
• Liaise with clients and internal teams to present results professionally.
