Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Mid-Level Linux Systems Administrator to support a DoW HPC environment at Stennis Space Center, MS. You will manage RHEL, RH Satellite, and automation with Ansible across large-scale computing resources.

The role requires US citizenship and Interim Secret clearance, and a hybrid work schedule with on-site presence as needed. Local candidates within commuting distance are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; 4+ years Linux Systems Administration experience or equivalent.
• Active DoW 8570 IAT Level II certification – Security+ CE or equivalent.
• RHCSA certification or higher; experience with RHEL environments.
• Experience with Red Hat Satellite or similar enterprise Linux management tools.
• Experience using Ansible for automation and configuration management.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot RHEL systems.
• Install, patch, upgrade, and maintain Linux operating systems and supporting software.
• Monitor system health, capacity, and performance; address issues proactively.
• Support Red Hat Satellite for deployment, patching, and management.
• Automate tasks with Ansible and ensure security baselines are met.
• Document procedures and collaborate with engineers and users to meet mission needs.
