Job summary

Serenium Therapy & Wellness in New Jersey is seeking licensed mental health therapists (LCSW, LPC, LSW, LAC) to provide in-person and Hybrid sessions for NJ residents.

You will conduct assessments, provide ongoing treatment, maintain confidentiality, and participate in meetings. The role supports Medicaid and insurance-based care with flexible scheduling and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current New Jersey license as LCSW, LPC, LSW or LAC.
• Availability for two evenings weekly and a full 40-hour workweek.
• Open to hybrid or in-office full-time employment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical assessments and diagnose clients using standardized tools.
• Provide ongoing treatment and monitor progress of psychotherapy.
• Maintain confidentiality of treatment records and reports.
• Attend meetings, conferences and trainings as required.
• Operate office equipment and manage software.
• Deliver high-quality, compassionate direct consumer mental health therapy.

Description:

Do you value mental and emotional well-being as part of a person’s overall wellness? Serenium Therapy & Wellness is looking for a motivated Licensed therapist (LCSW, LPC, LSW, LAC) to provide both in-person and Hybrid sessions for its NJ residents.

As a therapist at Serenium, you will help our clients feel a sense of serenity and balance working with them to calm their mind and emotions whether from a challenging diagnosis or from a new or difficult life event.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct clinical assessments using a variety of sources, methods, and approaches including, but not limited to, standardized testing tools to evaluate and diagnose clients with behavioral, social or emotional problems referred by counselors, psychologists, district staff and outside organizations.
• Provide ongoing treatment and counseling; monitor progress in program related activities and effectiveness of psychotherapy and treatment; process related forms and application; follow-up and re-evaluate appropriately.
• Maintain confidentiality of treatment records, reports and other sensitive and privileged information.
• Attend and participate in assigned meetings, conferences, and in-services.
• Operate office equipment including a computer and assigned software.
• Provide high quality, compassionate and ethical direct to consumer mental health therapy to clients'

Basic Qualifications:

• Currently a Licensed Therapist in the state of New Jersey (LCSW, LPC, LSW, LAC)
• Must be able to work two evenings
• Must be available to work a full 40 hour week, 5 days a week, M-F and open to either a hybrid position or full time in office

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience at a mental health outpatient facility
• Bilingual is a plus
