Job summary

The position requires 2 years of related experience, High School diploma, and PTCB certification within 6 months; a national certification is preferred. The job offers a hybrid schedule with two onsite days weekly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2 years of experience as a pharmacy technician, medical intake, or healthcare worker with medications.
• PTCB certification to be obtained within 6 months; preferred national certification.
• Strong communication and computer skills; proficient with pharmacy and office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Processes patient onboarding and eligibility for financial support.
• Coordinates with providers and patients for medication authorizations.
• Navigates medication authorization processes and refill requests.
• Documents patient home/chronic medications in the EHR.
• Communicates discrepancies to pharmacists and prescribers for clarification.
• Documents all findings in the EHR to support collaboration.
• Ensures patient privacy and compliance with regulations.
• Performs other related duties as required.
