Job summary

Agilis Engineering, Inc. is seeking Mechanical Design Engineer(s) for multiple locations including Palm Beach Gardens, FL, Columbia & Greenville, SC, Oklahoma City, OK and San Diego, CA.

You will create conceptual, preliminary and detailed designs that meet requirements for functionality, weight, cost and schedule. Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering, are proficient in Word/Excel/Outlook, and can work in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering (mechanical and/or aerospace) is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with all levels of personnel.
• Ability to obtain a Security Clearance, if required

Responsibilities

• Create conceptual, preliminary, and detailed designs meeting design requirements including functionality, assembly/disassembly, weight, cost, and schedule.
• Perform preliminary analyses to confirm design integrity.
• Deliverables consistent with Agilis QMS requirements.
• Maintain proficiency with Agilis analysis tools and customer-required tools.
• Work in a team and participate in customer reviews as needed.
• Identify and resolve problems; develop alternative solutions in group settings.
• Understand schedule, budget, and deliverables and how tasks integrate into the program plan.
• Provide in-house training and mentoring on techniques and tools.
• Perform other tasks as required.
