A leading IT services provider is seeking a SOA Architect for a contract opportunity in Oklahoma City. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in the .NET framework and IBM Mainframe technology, with responsibilities including creating a Batch Conversion project plan and converting mainframe components to .NET. Excellent communication skills and relevant development and design experience are essential. This role offers a chance to work in both legacy and new technology environments.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and executing solutions on the .NET framework.
• Deep experience with IBM Mainframe technology and tools.
• Comfortable in both mainframe and .NET environments.

Responsibilities

• Create overall Batch Conversion Project plan.
• Execute Batch components assessment and create Architecture solution.
• Convert and test Batch COBOL/JCL components from IBM Mainframe to .NET.
• Assist in selecting and implementing new Batch Scheduler.
• Create Dynamic IMS and SQL data access layer for batch COBOL program.
