Job summary

Vanderbilt Mortgage and Finance, Inc. is seeking a Loan Originator to guide customers through the loan process, verify eligibility, and explain available products. This role reports to the Credit Manager and supports the loan origination team.

The position offers a hybrid work schedule and a base salary with bonus potential, aiming for total compensation in the $90k–$100k range depending on experience and factors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• NMLS licensing for assigned states required.
• Ability to obtain mortgage originator license (MLO) and meet federal/state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Guides customers through the loan process from start to finish and determines loan approval.
• Communicates available loan products and eligibility to clients; coordinates with underwriters.
• Maintains documentation, ensures compliance with lending regulations and internal policies.
