Job summary

Flatrock Manor in Flint, MI seeks a compassionate Limited License Psychologist (LLP) to assess behavioral needs and develop individualized interventions. You will support staff and treatment teams to deliver high-quality care for residents.

The role emphasizes data-driven FBAs, BTP design, and staff education within a hybrid work model. 3–5 years of relevant experience and a Michigan LLP license are required.

Qualifications

• Michigan Limited License Psychologist (LLP) license is required.
• 3–5 years of experience working with behavioral health challenges.
• Strong assessment, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Passion for person-centered care and improving lives.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and document Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs).
• Design and write: Behavior Treatment Plans (BTPs).
• Prepare quarterly reviews and licensing assessments.
• Provide behavior treatment plan in-services and staff education.
• Complete ongoing assessments for new residents according to policy.
• Train staff in behavior support strategies, positive interactions, structured routines, coping skills development, and redirection techniques.
• Collaborate with treatment teams to problem-solve and implement program improvements.
• Attend weekly program meetings, staff meetings, pre-planning and core group meetings as needed.
• Coordinate care with psychiatrists and medical professionals to align medication and treatment plans.
• Model and monitor effective implementation of behavior support programs.
• Provide progress reviews at least quarterly.
