Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System is seeking a Litigation Paralegal – Employment and Revenue Cycle to provide comprehensive litigation and claims support to the employment and revenue cycle attorneys. You will manage document review, discovery responses, and coordination with outside counsel.

Responsibilities include preparing exhibits, timelines, and pleadings, organizing custodians' documents, and assisting in training materials and policy development.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree and completion of an accredited paralegal program.
• 3+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal in a law firm or in-house legal department.

Responsibilities

• Provide litigation/claims support to employment and revenue cycle attorneys.
• Respond to discovery requests and subpoenas; prepare exhibits and pleadings.
• Coordinate with outside counsel and maintain legal files and documents.
• Assist in training materials and policy/procedure development.
• Manage and organize custodians' documents and maintain attorney–client privilege.
