Job summary

You will gain exposure to a dynamic portfolio spanning personal injury, product liability, labor and employment, and more, working alongside experienced litigators at a national AmLaw firm.

Qualified candidates have 1+ year of experience, Illinois bar admission in good standing, and strong legal research/writing skills.

Qualifications

• Law school graduate with 1+ year of experience.
• Illinois Bar admission in good standing required.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Genuine interest in litigation and trial practice.
• Willing to obtain Missouri license if not admitted.

Responsibilities

• Take and defend depositions.
• Propound and respond to written discovery.
• Draft pleadings.
• Appear in court to present and defend client arguments.
• Communicate with carriers, clients, and opposing counsel.
• Multi-task and manage time-sensitive documents.
• Demonstrate exceptional organizational skills.
• Travel to courts across the Southern Illinois area as needed.
