Qualifications

• 2-6 years of litigation experience gained within a law firm environment.
• Commercial litigation experience preferred.
• Candidates from civil litigation, insurance defence, general liability, employment, construction, professional liability, business litigation, or other complex litigation practices encouraged to apply.
• Experience in California state and/or federal courts.
• Strong written advocacy, research, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and caseloads effectively.
• Excellent communication and client-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and legal memoranda.
• Taking and defending depositions, including occasional travel as required.
• Arguing motions and attending court hearings.
• Conducting witness interviews and factual investigations.
• Preparing cases for mediation, arbitration, and trial.
• Maintaining regular communication with clients and providing strategic advice.
• Collaborating with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to achieve successful outcomes.
