Tucker Ellis LLP is seeking an experienced Legal Billing Specialist to join our Billing team in the Los Angeles area. This role supports Litigation and Corporate matters across multiple offices and offers a hybrid work schedule.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of law-firm billing experience, strong knowledge of LEDES/UTBMS codes, and proficiency with e-billing platforms such as Legal Tracker, CounselLink, Collaborati, BillingPoint.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of two years of direct legal billing experience within a law firm is required.
• Experience with electronic billing platforms and client-specific billing guidelines is essential.
• Strong knowledge of LEDES billing formats and UTBMS codes is required.

Aufgaben

• Manage end-to-end billing for Litigation and Corporate matters, incl. complex matters.
• Prepare, review, finalize, and submit monthly invoices per client guidelines.
• Review timekeeper entries for accuracy and billing codes.
• Ensure invoices comply with client requirements and guidelines.
• Monitor and resolve electronic invoices and rejected/billed discrepancies.
