Job summary

Pennant Services seeks a Leave of Absence Manager to lead a multi-state team and deliver compliant, employee-centered leave programs across home health, hospice, home care, and senior living operations. The role reports to the Director of Total Rewards and requires in-office presence at least 3 days weekly with travel expectations.

You will partner with HR, Legal, Benefits and Payroll to optimize case management, policy development, and vendor relationships while upholding our core values.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managing complex leaves in a multi-state environment.
• Experience leading a team of leave administrators.
• Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, PWFA and USERRA.
• Knowledge of state/local leave laws and vendor partnerships.
• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a Leave of Absence team.
• Oversee all leave programs including FMLA, ADA, PWFA and USERRA.
• Coordinate with HR, Benefits, Payroll and Legal on complex cases.
• Develop policies, training materials, and communications.
• Ensure compliance and data accuracy across multi-state operations.
