Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Co. seeks a Lead Procurement Engineer to manage end-to-end procurement for AP1000 projects in North America. Hybrid work out of Cranberry Township, PA with 20–25% travel to supplier facilities.

You will collaborate with engineering, supply chain, quality, and commercial teams to meet safety, quality, cost and schedule goals. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 5+ years of project delivery experience; PMP is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or higher in Engineering.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in project delivery to major technical design projects.
• PMI- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement for AP1000 projects in North America.
• Develop and implement a program management model aligned to global execution models.
• Forecast program performance and identify risk with mitigation strategies.
• Be a trusted business partner to the Delivery Stream project procurement leader for each major customer project.
• Lead and oversee Delivery Stream teams across Westinghouse, suppliers, and customers.
• Provide supplier strategy and procurement planning, including supplier identification and down selection.
