Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Lead Broadcast Graphics Designer to guide creative output for live broadcasts, sports events, and entertainment programs. You will conceptualize and oversee on-air graphics, from lower thirds to complex motion packages, in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires leadership, a strong portfolio, and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and 3D tools, with experience in real-time graphics engines and broadcast systems like Vizrt or ChyronHego.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in broadcast graphics teams
• Impressive portfolio of broadcast graphics and motion design work
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator) and 3D software
• Experience with real-time graphics engines and broadcast automation systems such as Vizrt/ChyronHego/Ross Video
• Understanding of broadcast workflows, codecs, color spaces, and live transmission

Responsibilities

• Lead design and execution of broadcast graphics packages for live TV and digital platforms
• Conceptualize and create dynamic motion graphics, lower thirds, bumpers, and title sequences
• Collaborate with producers and directors to align creative objectives
• Manage a team of broadcast graphics designers and provide direction and feedback
• Oversee integration of graphics into live broadcasts using Vizrt or Chyron systems
• Ensure brand consistency and adherence to style guides
• Stay current with trends in broadcast design and VFX
• Troubleshoot graphics rendering and playback issues during live events
• Develop innovative visual solutions to engage viewers
