Job summary

Calvin Giordano & Associates (CGA), a SAFEbuilt Company, is a growing, award-winning design firm seeking a Landscape Designer in Fort Lauderdale. You will develop concepts and renderings for municipal, commercial, and public-space projects, collaborating with licensed Landscape Architects.

This in-office role transitions to a hybrid arrangement after six months, with opportunities for growth, licensure support, and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Master’s preferred.
• 1+ years of professional landscape design experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar drafting software.
• Familiarity with SketchUp, Lumion, or other 3D visualization tools.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Strong graphic, visualization, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a collaborative environment.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Develop conceptual designs, sketches, and visualizations to support project proposals.
• Produce high-quality renderings, presentation boards, and graphics to communicate design intent.
• Collaborate with Landscape Architects, planners, and multidisciplinary teams to refine designs.
• Assist with layout plans and drafting using AutoCAD or similar tools.
• Research and recommend plant materials, hardscape elements, and site features.
• Incorporate feedback from project teams, clients, and regulatory agencies into design revisions.
• Support client presentations and participate in project discussions as needed.
• Occasionally assist with site visits to gather information and support project coordination.
