Job summary

HMB Professional Engineers, LLC is seeking a Landscape Architect to join our Architecture team in Lexington or Louisville. The role involves leading environmentally-conscious landscape designs for parks, public spaces, and commercial properties, with responsibility for concept plans and client communication.

The candidate should have a landscape architecture degree, be licensed in Kentucky or eligible for reciprocity, and possess 6+ years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture required.
• Licensed Landscape Architect in Kentucky or eligible for reciprocity.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in creating environmentally-conscious landscape designs for parks, public spaces, and commercial properties.
• Develop concept plans, design drawings, and presentations to communicate design intent to clients and stakeholders.
• Ensure designs adhere to local codes, regulations, and environmental standards.
• Oversee all project phases from conceptualization to completion, delivering on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors and other design disciplines to meet project requirements.
• Monitor progress and implement corrective measures when needed.
