Job summary

Geisinger is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist with strong laboratory information system expertise to support the LIMS and IT infrastructure across assigned areas. The role includes testing software changes, maintaining data integrity, and developing ad hoc reports to meet laboratory requests.

Hybrid work arrangement with on-site lab responsibilities and travel to multiple Geisinger facilities may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science or MLS with ASCP/NAACLS accreditation.
• Two+ years of lab IT/technical experience is preferred.
• Experience with Epic Beaker and interfacing instruments is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support Laboratory Information System, IT, and lab area users.
• Assist in testing software releases and changes before production.
• Develop ad hoc reports and dashboards for lab needs.
