Job summary

Food Management Search, Inc. is assisting an AmLaw 100 firm in Atlanta to hire an experienced Labor & Employment Associate Attorney.

The role focuses on representing management in complex labor and employment litigation in a collaborative, high-performing environment. The ideal candidate has 3–8 years of substantive labor and employment experience, a Georgia bar in good standing, and a strong record in litigation, research, and advocacy.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
• Active Georgia Bar admission in good standing.
• 3–8 years of substantive labor and employment law experience.
• Significant experience in employment litigation in state and federal courts.
• Ability to manage matters independently and as part of a team.
• Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.
• Experience at a large or well-regarded law firm preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle a wide range of labor and employment litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Represent management in employment-related claims before state and federal courts and administrative agencies.
• Draft and argue motions, manage discovery, and participate in depositions and hearings.
• Advise clients on day-to-day employment issues and risk mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop litigation strategy and deliver practical, business-oriented solutions.
