Job summary

The Themesoft Inc team seeks an L3 Network Engineer with 10+ years of enterprise networking experience in routing and switching, SD-Access, DNAC, VXLAN, and IoT networking. You will work with Cisco and Arista platforms, troubleshoot complex issues, and collaborate with security and IoT teams.

The role emphasizes hands‑on expertise and lab development for IoT connectivity, with onsite interview rounds in New York and a contract duration of 6-12 months.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of enterprise network engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in Routing & Switching, BGP, OSPF.
• Hands‑on experience with Cisco and/or Arista platforms.
• Strong experience with Cisco SD-Access (SDA), DNA Center (DNAC), and VXLAN – Mandatory.
• Experience with Cisco ISR, ASR1K, ASR9K, Catalyst 9K, and Nexus 9K.
• Strong knowledge of IGMPv2/v3, PIM, Static RP, and RP-Anycast.
• Experience with IPsec, DMVPN, VXLAN, SD-WAN, SDA, and MACsec.
• Experience with IoT deployment, IoT communication protocols, and troubleshooting IoT connectivity.
• Knowledge of Cisco ISE, 802.1X/NAC, TrustSec, TACACS, DNS, and DHCP.
• Understanding of 10G/25G/40G/50G/100G optics, breakout cables, and panels.
• CCIE Lab Certification – Mandatory.
• Ansible knowledge – Good to have.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and troubleshoot enterprise routing and switching environments.
• Develop and support lab frameworks for connecting IoT endpoints to campus/branch networks.
• Test and validate network hardware, software features, endpoint functionality, and IoT communication scenarios.
• Configure and troubleshoot SD-Access, DNAC, VXLAN, NAC/802.1X, and TrustSec environments.
• Troubleshoot complex network connectivity, routing, switching, and IoT-related issues.
• Collaborate with network engineering, IoT, security, and other cross‑functional teams.
• Prepare technical documentation and provide timely status reports.
