Job summary

AgriSompo is seeking an IT QA Analyst to join the Information Technology team. The IT QA Analyst participates in quality assurance, performing tests on software applications and identifying issues to ensure the end product meets business expectations.

The role is based in Lenexa, KS; Topeka, KS; and Lubbock, TX with a hybrid schedule (3 days in office; 2 days at home). You will design and execute test scenarios, develop test plans, write and maintain tests, and document results.

Qualifications

• Experience testing various software applications on different platforms.
• Good knowledge of software programming languages and databases.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience writing manual test cases and executing manual and automated tests.
• Ability to work with a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test scenarios, RTM, test cases.
• Develop and document application test plans based on software requirements and technical specifications.
• Write, maintain and/or automate software testing.
• Identify, analyze, and document defects and operational discrepancies.
• Record and document results of test execution and defect tracking report.
• Ensure compliance with general QA best practices and SDLC models.
