Job summary

Coast Professional, Inc. is seeking an IT Business and Controls Auditor I for a hybrid role based in Perry, NY or East Aurora, NY.

The position focuses on ensuring compliance of internal collections systems and processes, with strong emphasis on SQL querying, data accuracy, and adherence to contractual and regulatory requirements. The role supports IT and Operations, requiring 2 days remote and 3 days in-office, with the flexibility of on-site work at either Perry or EA locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree desirable or equivalent experience accepted.
• Two years minimum experience in collections or related field; familiarity with student loan collections preferred.
• Knowledge of FDCPA, UDAAP, Regulation F, TCPA or similar regulatory rules.

Responsibilities

• Review workflows and instructions to understand intended operation.
• Audit Artiva/FACS processes for compliance with workflows.
• Identify errors not in compliance and report to management.
• Initiate non-conformities within the compliance system.
• Review corrective actions and remediation actions for accuracy.
• Analyze emails, tickets, and notifications to identify issues.
• Generate reports from client and Coast systems to identify deficiencies.
• Provide support to other areas of the compliance department.
