Job summary

Columbia Sportswear Company is seeking a Technology Auditor to join the Global Audit & Risk Management team. You will help evaluate IT-related risks, contribute to annual audit plans, and support cybersecurity, data privacy, and governance efforts in a dynamic IT environment.

You will work hybrid from our Portland-area headquarters with collaboration across Legal, Data Privacy, Digital Technology, and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field; or a business degree with significant IT risk experience
• 2+ years of progressive experience in technology audit, risk management, cybersecurity, or compliance
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and IT control frameworks (NIST, ISO, COBIT)
• Experience in testing and applying cybersecurity frameworks
• Experience with evaluating and testing privacy frameworks, such as state-driven privacy acts and regulations
• Familiarity with operating systems, databases, cloud platforms, enterprise architecture, and digital commerce risk considerations
• Certifications: CISA, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CEH, CompTIA Security+

Responsibilities

• Assist IT Audit Senior Manager and Team in evaluating IT-related risks to support annual audit plans
• Deliver system and environmental infrastructure acumen to support IT-driven audits (cybersecurity, cloud, data privacy)
• Execute audits covering IT governance, cybersecurity, data privacy, IAM, change management, system development
• Conduct cybersecurity and privacy audits to address regulatory requirements
• Utilize audit tools such as AuditBoard and PowerBI to support audit work
• Apply IT best practices and frameworks (ITIL, ISO, COBIT, NIST, CIS)
• Collaborate with functional contacts across business areas for IT initiatives
• Communicate findings clearly to stakeholders across cultures and global teams
• Support testing of SDLC controls to ensure compliance and process improvements
• Demonstrate strong project/time management and urgency in multiple priorities
• Promote integrity and accountability within the organization
