Michael Hsu Office of Architecture in Houston is seeking an experienced Interior Designer to lead portions of projects, translating concepts into coordinated drawings and construction documents.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of interior design experience, a Bachelor’s in Interior Design or Interior Architecture (CIDA-accredited), and proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite. This hybrid role requires in-person work three days per week in Houston and Austin.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture from a CIDA-accredited university.
• 3+ years of professional interior design experience with design and construction document production.
• Ability to commute to Houston office at least three days per week.

Responsabilités

• Develop interior design concepts and produce drawings, details, renderings, and construction documents.
• Create mood boards, finish palettes, material studies, and presentation materials.
• Coordinate finishes, fixtures, furnishings, artwork, and accessories.
• Contribute to the design and coordination of custom furniture, millwork, lighting, and other interior elements.
• Coordinate with consultants, vendors, and internal team members to maintain project alignment and documentation quality.
• Support construction administration activities, including RFIs and submittals.
