Job summary

The Commonwealth Honors College at the University of Massachusetts Amherst invites applicants for a full-time, non-tenure track lecturer to teach within the honors curriculum. The interdisciplinary freshman seminar “Ideas That Change the World” and other honors courses will be taught, including courses with General Education designations.

The lecturer will collaborate with CHC colleagues across campus to support the Dean's strategic priorities, promote diversity and inclusive teaching, and

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or terminal degree.
• Minimum of three years teaching experience.
• Commitment to inclusive, student-centered teaching.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
