Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with minimum two years of hospital/physician practice business office experience.
• Successful completion of a medical terminology course prior to employment.
• Associate's degree is preferred and CHAA certification is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify insurance coverage and obtain pre-certification for procedures and admissions.
• Coordinate VOB and authorization/pre-certification/documents for patients.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the patient’s medical record and communicate with payors and providers.
