Qualifications

• BS/BA degree required.
• 3-5 years’ experience in information security, with at least one year in third party risk management.
• Knowledge of IP network infrastructure (firewalls, IDS/IPS), access control, data encryption; cloud security knowledge a plus.
• Excellent communication skills in English, written and verbal.
• Ability to present complex topics in clear, non-technical language.
• Ability to work collaboratively across business and technology functions.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive with ownership mindset and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Perform 3rd party vendor risk assessments using WBD processes.
• Understand vendor services to assess risk scope and level.
• Assess vendor controls and document key deficiencies for business and security teams.
• Report assessment outcomes, risk level and remediation recommendations.
• Conduct 2nd-level peer reviews of assessment outputs for consistency.
• Assist with documentation requests for initial and periodic assessments.
• Monitor corrective action plans and evidence for closure.
• Review contracts to ensure data security terms are included.
• Escalate contract changes as needed.
• Maintain data in the system of record and provide status updates.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
