Job summary

RK&K is hiring motivated Highway Design Project Engineers in Tennessee to improve transportation for local communities. You will join our multimodal Transportation Design team and lead projects with state, county and municipal agencies, collaborating with clients, agency leaders, and community representatives to deliver multimodal improvements.

We offer relocation assistance and a sign-on bonus based on experience.

Qualifications

• Four or more years of civil/transportation/highway engineering experience.
• ABET-accredited BS in Civil Engineering.
• PE license, or ability to obtain within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of roadways, widening, streetscapes and related design tasks.
• Lead project teams to develop safe, multimodal design recommendations.
• Apply federal, state and local guidelines and standards.
• Ensure high-quality deliverables within budget and schedule.
• Coordinate with clients, agencies and project staff.
