Job summary

University of Michigan Dearborn is seeking a part-time ECE Graphic Designer (Student Temporary). The role involves designing flyers, brochures, posters, and online graphics for ECE programs and events, ensuring brand standards are met.

The position supports collaboration with the department and external partners and carries a hybrid on-site/remote work arrangement, up to 10 hours weekly. Applicants must be UM-Dearborn students with a high school diploma/ GED and experience in InDesign, Canva, or

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Current UM-Dearborn student.
Experience with graphic design programs (InDesign, Canva, Adobe, or similar).
Excellent written communication, organization and time-management skills.
Ability to follow instructions and adhere to the university brand identity guidance.

Responsibilities

Evaluate existing materials and best practices for displaying content to meet department needs.
Design flyers, brochures, posters, online graphics, or other visual media for ECE programs, events and courses.
Collaborate with department and units to ensure webpages/links remain current and dynamic.
Follow the University's brand identity guidelines (fonts, colors, logos).
Other duties as assigned.
