Job summary

This entry-level role supports design and delivery of water and wastewater projects across multiple office locations with hybrid options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program.
• Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding including background check, drug screen, and MVR search.
• Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Develops familiarity by reading, understanding and applying departmental design guides, standards, systems, applicable engineering codes and BV policies.
• Coordinates with multidisciplinary project teams to support design and construction of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Participates in project coordination meetings and works with project teams to resolve design challenges and incorporate client requirements.
• Performs routine research and develops recommendations for equipment and/or materials selection.
• Prepares basic engineering calculations following standard methods and principles used in similar engineering analysis.
• Assists with development of project schedules, cost estimates, and engineering deliverables to support successful project execution.
• Focuses on the needs of internal clients while gaining understanding of external client interests and drivers.
• Develops and applies knowledge of engineering software, design tools, and digital delivery methods.
