Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Logistics Manager to support logistics and trade operations while ensuring compliance and operational excellence. Located in Elgin, IL, this hybrid role requires residing in the Chicagoland area, with the ability to work from the office up to 3 days per week.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in import/export and logistics management. Responsibilities include managing freight operations and supporting global compliance initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in import, export and global logistics.
• Familiar with Customs Clearance and Trade compliance.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics management.

Responsibilities

• Manage logistics and trade operations supporting Silvus Technologies.
• Coordinate logistics operations, freight, and carrier management.
• Ensure delivery of all purchase orders, sales orders and documentation.

Skills

Excellent English communication skills

Detail-oriented

Analytical skills

Knowledge of ERP systems

Education

Degree or College Diploma in International Business or related field

CCS certification or progress toward it

Business Degree with ISM or CPSM or CCLP or APICS (CLTD) designation
