Job summary

HID Global, in Salt Lake City, UT, seeks a GL Accountant to join our Finance team. You will perform journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations as part of the monthly and quarterly close in a fast-paced tech environment.

You will also support European VAT accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls, collaborating with cross-functional partners. A 4+ year accounting/finance background and US work authorization are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of four years of accounting or finance experience, preferably including general ledger and month-end close responsibilities.
• Experience with IFRS, European VAT accounting, journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, analyze, and post journal entries as part of monthly/quarterly close.
• Calculate and analyze monthly accruals and prepayments.
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and resolve items.
• Support monthly/quarterly financial reporting in accordance with accounting policies.
• Assist with intercompany accounting and reconciliations; support audits.
