Job summary

The Newark, NJ office of Lewis Brisbois, a full-service AmLaw 100 firm, seeks an attorney to join its General Liability Practice. The ideal candidate will have strong research and writing skills and 1–7 years of experience in insurance defense litigation, including case management, motions, discovery, and hearings.

Qualifications

• Bar admission in New Jersey is required.
• 1–7 years of experience in insurance defense litigation.
• Experience in case management, motions, discovery, hearings, depositions, arbitrations and trials.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in insurance defense matters across phases of litigation.
• Manage cases, draft motions, handle discovery requests and participate in hearings and depositions.
• Support trial preparation and liaise with clients and opposing counsel.
